We know the drill, you are invited to a barbecue, but as a vegan (or veggie) you need to bring your own burgers. And, of course, it’s all impromptu as British weather is so unpredictable.
We’ve got you covered with this meat-free mix that is suitable for veggies and vegans, these mixes are quick and easy to make and last for ages in your cupboard!
Simply add some warm water (and maybe your own special mix or herbs and spices), then squash your mix into 'burger shapes' and stick them on the barbecue. If no barbecue is available, you can always grill or shallow fry them instead!
Ingredients: Whole-wheat breadcrumbs, textured soya protein (20%), wheat gluten, vegetable oils (rapeseed, palm), flavourings, hydrolysed vegetable protein (maize, soya), spices(pepper, cayenne pepper, ginger, clove. nutmeg), tapioca, citric acid, sugar, (xylose, dextrose), yeast extract, salt, smoke flavouring), thickener:methycellulose, onion powder, herbs (sage, marjoram), colour, ammonia caramel.
